Our team of sales ladies is very competitive. We held a contest that ran from June through August. For every four quarter boxes a client put on repeat order, they received one chance for $100.00 gift card. The Account Manager for the winning client would receive same prize.
We had our drawing. Georgia State (& Tammy Spence) won the prize. In typical Georgia State fashion, Len Collins decided to divide up the prize and share it with the Georgia State people who actually placed the orders.
Kudos to Len, his team and Tammy for a job well done.

Video from our most recent show
Gardens America took part in a recent event in Miami Beach. While there, Willie Armellini came by and surprised me by asking me to do a video. I have linked it here:

Positive Thought
Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough.

ATT gives GA Office personnel the day off!
Due to something funky going on in the circuits between our office and ATT, we have no office communication. No phones. No faxes. No e-mails.
Our Account Mangers are all working - but office staff has gone home for the day. Enjoy the time off, team!

IFE Experience....
Most of you know that the salesteam was assisting me at the IFE in South Beach this past week.
What a BLAST! In addition to the "fun" of processing over 100 boxes, transporting the product and setting up at the event we REALLY did have a good time.
It was great to see our existing clients and to get to spend some quality time showing them all the products, packs and services they didn't know (or forgot) we had.
The only time our booth slowed down was at lunchtime. Other than that we were "hopping". When we weren't with clients, we were strategizing with potential new product suppliers, promoting Crysal and talking with MAC Technologies.
If you stopped by the booth, please BLOG with us about your experience. If you weren't there, BLOG anyway. We would love to hear from you.

ANOTHER GREAT DAY at Gardens!
This was a great day. The sales team was in the office and in full swing. This is a rare occurrence as most of TEAM Gardens is virtual. Janel flew in from NJ to join Tina and Tammy in the office.
There are a couple of reasons for this occasion:
1) We REALLY do like each other.
2) We like to have face to face strategy sessions.
3) We are exhibiting at IFE this week - and are planning on a successful event.
Big Kudos to J-Bro, Budda and Joanne - without you today would have been "NUTS".

Summer Madness has come to Gardens!
Man O Man... your personal Account Managers never let up on me. They are convinced that if your "frugal" clients just try our alstroemeria that they will be hooked. So... they have insisted on a Summer Madness Promotion on our 60cm Alstroemeria.
Contact Janel, Tammy or Tina and get more details about the offering - AND your chance to win a gift card.

Weather in Colombia
Our Man in Medellin is advising us that the rainy weather is back in both Bogota and Medellin. The constant rain and poor luminosity just puts more farms and production at risk. Please send blog questions about the weather and/or its' effects on production and we will do our best to answer you.

Let the sharing begin....
Today I begin our blog.
Lord help me, I don't know why I have taken on another responsibility.
However, I DO love a challenge - and this is my effort for people to interact with me. You can ask questions, make suggestions, vent... whatever!
I look forward to hearing from all of you
